plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! – – your comments on this policy are welcome. (((competitor’s name redacted))) Right across the road is so much more honest and they offer so much more!!!! sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. I trully think they were honest my first few times maybe thats why they switched managers because their first one wouldnt lie to make sales or Shawn was just a better liar either way why risk it. I wouldnt advise anyone to go there I now know why my friends had a bad expeirence. But then all I can think is has Auto Lab been lying to me the whole time or did they just hire a Bad manager? But either way if they werent rip offs they are now. While waitin on my oil change the new manager was on the internet the whole time seemingly not to pay any mind to me that is until he told me I needed a hub assembly and an outer tie rod totaling to $760 and didnt bring my into the shop to show me I felt very indiffrent about this time so I denied all work payed for my oil change and left it was my day off so I went over to the Goodyear to get a second opinon as I didnt feel anything wrong while driving and it drove straight however Goodyear did tell me that I did have some movement in my TIe Rod and it wasnt that bad but does need attenton soon told me it would cost me $230 to fix and align I went ahead and had them complete it. But I still have had great experiences thus far. I asked them if they talked to Shawn and they said “I dont think so he didnt have tattoos” but to each thier own I returneda few weeks after and when I walked in a seen a new manager in very dirty looking I guess your shade tree mechanic look I asked for shaun he told me he was no longer there and explained he was in jail which if even true I felt that it was very unprofessional to say that.

I told my friends about them and several returned and told me that thier experiences was not the same they lied and gave them huge estimates that didnt seem like the same place I have been. I thought wow I have found the repair shop for me they seemed to go to great lengths for everyone. I then returned several weeks later and had my brakes replaced once again Shawn gave me a ride home picked me up and everything went well.

I told him at that time I couldnt do anything after that he remained curteous to me billed me out and I left I returned the next week and he was very sick but still remained curteous as you could tell he didnt really feel like talking at that time I Had my Axle replaced he gave me a ride home he told me that it would be done in 2 hours but due to a problem with parts it wasnt done for 6 hours I realize things happen so no biggy. Upon first visit I was greeted by a gentleman who I found to be the Manager his name was Shawn he was not your typical manager as he had alot of tattoos but he was very friendly and you could tell he was extremly honest which made me comfartable he explained to me that I had a few things going on with my vehicle even took me out to the shop to show me some of them at that point he told me what was important and what we could wait on.

I then looked at thier website to research them and found out that they are a franchise from several other states I believe based in Michigan mostly. I first visited Auto Lab because I received a great coupon for a $14.99 Oil Change.
